# Artifacts: documents, slides, web pages and charts Documents, slide decks, web pages and charts open in a side panel where you can edit, see changes and export. The Artifacts library keeps them all. Source: https://infinall.ai/docs/chat/artifacts Last checked: 2026-10-26 ## What it is When you ask chat for a document, a slide deck, a web page or a chart, it opens in a panel next to the chat. You can read it, edit the text, see what changed after a revision and export it. The Artifacts library lists everything you have made in chat. ## Who can use it Everyone. Free and Pro accounts get the same panel, exports and library. ## Cost Mixed. Asking for the document is a normal chat reply and follows the cost of the choice in the picker: **Auto** is free, other choices use credits. Opening, editing and exporting never use credits. ## Where to find it - In a chat: click the card that Infinall AI shows in its reply. Long unchanged parts are folded. | Both | | | Reload | In the preview of an interactive chart. Runs it again. | Both | ## How to make a document 1. Ask in chat, for example "Write a one page launch plan for our cold brew." 2. A card appears. While it is written it says "Writing..." with a line count. 3. Click the card to open the side panel. Read it in **Preview**. ## How to change a document 1. Ask in chat for a change, for example "Make the intro shorter." 2. The same document updates. Its version goes up, shown as "Version 2". Open the **Changes** tab to see additions and removals. 3. Or open the **Edit** tab and type your own changes directly. ## How to export 1. Wait until the document is finished. 2. Click **Export**. 3. Choose a file type from **Download as**. See Options explained. ## How to find an old artifact 1. Click **Artifacts** in the chat sidebar. 2. Use **Search**, the tabs or **Sort**. 3. Click an item to open it. ## Options explained **What chat can make.** | Type | What it is | | --- | --- | | Document | Headings, paragraphs, tables and lists. | | Web page | A real web page. Audio and video, where they appear, download as MP3 and MP4. **Versions.** Each revision raises the version number. The card shows it, for example "Version 2", and the library shows "v2". **Library labels.** Each item shows its type, its version and the chat it came from. Items are grouped by day. ## Limits - Word and PDF export handle documents up to 500,000 characters. - The panel can be resized by dragging its left edge. It is at least a few hundred pixels wide. ## When something goes wrong | Message in the app | What it means | What to do | | --- | --- | --- | | Word export failed. With the chat they came from. The **Artifacts** library lists all of them. Deleting a chat deletes the artifacts inside it. ### Can I edit a document myself? Yes. Use the **Edit** tab. Your edits are used when you export. ### How do I see what changed? Open the **Changes** tab after a revision. Green means added and red means removed. ### Can I share an artifact? Share the whole chat with **Share**. See [share and delete](/docs/chat/share-and-delete). ### Is there a limit on how many I can make? The code sets no count limit for artifacts. Normal chat credit rules apply to the replies that make them.
