## What it is

Before paid work starts, the app shows what it will cost. When work fails, the credits held for it go back to you. Credits are only kept for work that was actually done.

## Who can use it

Everyone. Free and Pro accounts get the same price preview and the same refunds.

## Cost

Free, no credits. Seeing a price never uses credits. You are only charged when you confirm and the work completes.

## Where to find it

The price shows where you start the work. Videos show a price card with **Get price**. Image edits show a price chip next to **Apply**. Motion shows an estimated price range in the quality menu. Your balance and every charge or refund are in **Settings > Credits**.

## Buttons and controls

<!-- shot: credits/price-before-you-confirm -->

| # | Name in the app | What it does | Plan |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Credit activity | On **Settings > Credits**, lists every charge and refund. | Both |
| 2 | Statement | Downloads your credit activity as a PDF or CSV file. | Both |
| | Get price | In Video, asks for the exact price of your plan before anything renders. After you have a price it reads **New price**. | Pro |
| | Approve & render | In Video, confirms the price and starts the render. After a finished or failed video it reads **Approve & render again**. | Pro |
| | Approve script | In Video, shows when the video has spoken lines. You read and approve them first, then you see the price. | Pro |
| | Open storyboard | In Video, lets you review and edit scenes before you get a price. | Pro |

## How to see the price before you pay

1. Set up your work, for example a video or an image edit.
2. Look at the price. For video, choose **Get price** and read the credits on the price card. For an image edit, read the price chip next to **Apply**.
3. If you agree, choose **Approve & render** (video) or **Apply** (image edit).
4. If you do not agree, change your options. Nothing is charged until you confirm.

## How to check you were not charged for a failure

1. Open **Settings**, then **Credits**.
2. In **Credit activity**, find the row for the failed work.
3. A refund shows as an addition. Choose **Credits** to filter to additions only.

## Options explained

**Exact price.** Video shows the exact price on a price card before it renders. The model menu shows an estimate, and the card shows the exact figure.

**Price expires.** A video price holds for 10 minutes. After that the card says "Price expired. Get a new price." and you choose **New price**.

**Estimate for Motion.** Motion is charged on what the video uses. Its quality menu shows an estimated price range before you send, and longer videos cost more.

**Image edits.** Paid edits show an approximate price next to **Apply**. The chip turns red and says "(over 100)" when one request would cost more than the limit. Pick fewer images or a lower quality.

**Credits are held first.** For many kinds of work, the app first holds the credits it expects to need. When the work ends, it keeps what was used and returns the rest.

**Failures.** If a request fails, the credits held for it are refunded. If a render fails part way, finished sections may be charged and the failed parts are refunded. If Infinall AI refuses a request for safety reasons, nothing is charged. A voiceover that fails charges nothing. A suggested reply, an analyst question or an image edit that fails is not charged either.

**Cancelled or timed-out work.** If a run is cancelled before it does any work, or a held amount sits unused until it expires, the whole hold is returned.

**Prices per model.** The app does not show a price for each chat model. Chat replies use credits based on the model that answered, and a failed reply costs nothing.

## Limits

- A video price holds for 10 minutes.
- One image edit request can cost at most 100 credits.
- One chat message can spend at most 100 credits on images.
- One AI editor request stops after 100 credits. Say continue to keep going.

## Questions

### Will I see the price before I am charged?

Yes, for work that is priced up front, like video and image edits. Chat replies are charged by the model that answered, and the app does not show per model prices.

### What if my task fails?

You are not charged for it. Credits held for the task are returned. If a video render fails part way, finished sections may be charged and the rest is refunded.

### Can my balance go below zero?

Yes, when a task that was already running uses more than you had left. Add credits before you start new work.

### Where can I see a refund?

In **Settings > Credits**, under **Credit activity**. Refunds show as additions.

### Does the price change after I confirm?

Video prices hold for 10 minutes. After that you ask for a new price. Motion is charged on usage, so its price is an estimate range until it finishes.
