AI Ad Campaigns for API Products and API-First Companies
Infinall AI turns an API product's landing page or docs URL into competitor research, a campaign strategy, ad copy, image ads, carousels and video drafts, held in an Approval Queue for you to edit before export. It does not write or verify your documentation, does not confirm that performance, uptime or pricing claims are true, and does not buy media.
The API Products challenge
An API is a product whose best demo is a code sample and whose buyer is split in two. The developer evaluating it wants a working request in five minutes, honest latency numbers and docs that do not lie. The person who approves the spend, an engineering manager, a founder, a procurement lead, wants to know what it replaces, what it costs at scale and what happens when it breaks. A single ad rarely satisfies both, and ads written for one tend to repel the other.
The second problem is credibility. Developers are quick to dismiss anything that reads as marketing, and claims about speed, reliability or accuracy that cannot be checked in the docs or a status page do active damage. A stock illustration of a glowing network does nothing. What works in developer-facing advertising is usually specific and checkable: a real request and response, a named capability, a clear pricing unit. Creative that cannot carry that specificity, or that overstates it, is worse than no ad.
Third, API products are crowded with near-identical positioning. In many categories, a dozen providers promise to be faster, simpler and more reliable, and the differences live in details such as rate limits, SDK quality, error handling, regional availability or pricing granularity. Unless the research surfaces what competitors actually claim and where they are silent, an ad ends up repeating the same promise as everyone else, at the cost of a click. There is also a long evaluation cycle: someone who clicks today may integrate next quarter, so a campaign judged on last-click conversions can look like a failure when it is not.
Infinall helps with the research and drafting: how competing APIs position themselves, which angles are crowded, and first drafts of copy and creative for both the developer and the buyer. It does not write or test code samples, does not check that an uptime, latency or accuracy figure is correct, and does not decide what you can legally say about performance or data handling. Every number in every ad needs to be verified by someone on your team in the Approval Queue before it goes out.
How Infinall AI works for API Products
Step 1 of 5
Paste your landing page or docs overview URL
Use the public page that explains what the API does, who it is for and how it is priced. Infinall builds a picture of the product and tone from it. If the API serves two distinct buyers, such as developers and operations teams, run a separate campaign for each.
Step 2 of 5
Research competing APIs and what they claim
Infinall researches competing providers and the angles, offers and claims they use. On Pro, research uses real-data sources and can run at Deep or Max depth. Use Ad Spy in the Library to see what competitors actually advertise, and note which promises are universal so you can pick a more specific one.
Step 3 of 5
Pick a specific, checkable angle
Review the strategy and choose an angle you can back up: a named capability, a pricing unit, a supported language, a documented limit. Edit the messaging to remove any claim about speed, uptime or accuracy that you cannot point to in your own docs or status page.
Step 4 of 5
Generate copy and creative
Infinall drafts placement-specific copy and produces image ads and carousels, plus video drafts on Pro. A Pro Full Campaign in Standard mode produces up to 6 image ads and 3 carousels. Carousels work well for showing a request-and-response flow in steps, though you will need to supply any real code snippet yourself.
Step 5 of 5
Verify claims in the Approval Queue and export
Every asset lands in the Approval Queue. Have an engineer check any number, code fragment, SDK mention or capability against the current docs, then edit or reject what does not hold. Export the approved set and launch it yourself in your ad accounts. Exporting costs no credits.
Cost comparison
Infinall AI Pro is $30/month or $299/year, with 3,000 credits per month and 5 users. That covers research, strategy, copy and creative drafts for separate developer-facing and buyer-facing campaigns; it does not include ad spend or the engineering time needed to verify technical claims. The Free plan ($0, 1,000 credits per month) runs a Lite-mode Full Campaign of up to 3 image ads and 1 carousel with no video generation, enough to test one angle before moving to Pro.
Frequently asked questions
Can Infinall write code samples or API documentation for my ads?
It can draft copy, and an ad may include illustrative text, but it does not run or test your API and should not be treated as a source of correct code. Any snippet, endpoint name or response shown in an ad should come from your own docs and be checked by an engineer in the Approval Queue. A wrong example in a developer ad costs more trust than having none.
Will developers respond to AI-generated ads?
Developers respond to specificity and honesty, not to how an ad was made. Copy that names a real capability, a real pricing unit and a real limitation is more credible than polished vagueness whoever drafted it. Infinall can help you iterate on angles and wording, but it cannot supply the substance. If your differentiator is not clear in the research and in your own docs, the ad will not fix that.
How should I measure an API campaign given the long integration cycle?
That sits outside what Infinall does, since it does not manage or analyse live ad spend. As a general point, last-click signups can understate impact when evaluation takes weeks, so many teams track qualified signups, first successful API call and sandbox activity rather than a single conversion. Decide those definitions in your own analytics before you launch.
