Google Display Ad Resizer
Turn one image into all 20 Google Display ad sizes, compressed for the 150 KB limit, in one zip.
Use Google Display Ad Resizer
Sizes and the 150 KB limit are from Google Ads Help (checked 26 October 2026); the 50% crop and enlargement flags are our guidelines. Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser; nothing you enter is uploaded.
How to use it
Upload one image and get all 20 banner sizes Google lists for display image ads, each cropped where you choose and compressed toward the 150 KB limit.
- Drop your image; all 20 sizes are ticked, so untick any you won't run.
- Pick Fill and crop or Fit inside; set the background colour under More options.
- Check each file's KB against 150 KB, then download single files or one zip.
How it works
Fill and crop keeps min(sw·th, sh·tw) ÷ max(sw·th, sh·tw) of the image
Scale = banner width ÷ crop width; above 1 means the image was enlarged
Example
Kochi electronics store (₹1,49,990 TV)
A wide TV photo with the price near the bottom; the two narrowest skyscrapers are skipped as the price gets too small.
Questions
Which sizes does Google accept for uploaded display image ads?
Google Ads Help lists 20. Boxes: 200 × 200, 240 × 400, 250 × 250, 250 × 360, 300 × 250, 336 × 280, 580 × 400. Tall: 120 × 600, 160 × 600, 300 × 600, 300 × 1050. Wide: 468 × 60, 728 × 90, 930 × 180, 970 × 90, 970 × 250, 980 × 120. Small: 300 × 50, 320 × 50, 320 × 100. Some are regional.
What is the file size limit for Google Display banners?
150 KB per image, as GIF, JPG or PNG. The tool counts 1 KB as 1,000 bytes and rounds sizes up, so "150 KB of 150 KB" is never over, even if Google counts 1,024-byte kilobytes. JPG usually gets photos under the limit; PNG is lossless and often larger.
Which Google display ad size is best?
Google lists the sizes without ranking them, and so does this tool. All 20 come from one upload, so untick only the ones your design can't fill, like a 970 × 90 strip cut from a square product photo.
Why is part of my image cut off in some sizes?
The shapes range from a 1:5 skyscraper to a 10.78:1 strip, so no photo fits all 20. A square photo keeps under half of itself in 12 sizes on Fill and crop. Move the focus, or use Fit inside to keep the whole image and set the background colour under More options.
Can I make animated GIF banners here?
No. The tool writes still JPG or PNG files and uses the first frame of an animated upload. Google requires animated GIFs to run 30 seconds or shorter, slower than 5 frames per second.
Is this the same as a responsive display ad?
No. Responsive display ads use a 1.91:1 image (1200 × 628 recommended, at least 600 × 314) and a 1:1 image (600 × 600 recommended, at least 300 × 300), and Google builds the ad. This tool makes fixed-size banners you upload as image ads.
