Questions
How much of my Pinterest title will show in the feed?
Pinterest allows up to 100 characters. Its product specs say the first 40 may show depending on the device, or 30 for double-byte languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Arabic. Put essential words first.
Does Pinterest show the description in the feed?
No. The product specs allow up to 800 characters but say descriptions do not appear in the home feed or search feed. Use the description for supporting detail, not an offer condition that must be visible in the feed.
What image shape should I start with?
Pinterest recommends a 2:3 image, for example 1000 × 1500 px. Taller pins might get cut off. Use the Pinterest Pin Resizer to prepare the image.
Why might a white image look slightly grey on Pinterest?
Pinterest’s Pin specs describe a faint black layer at 4% opacity in light mode. That can make white images look slightly grey. Review the final colours on Pinterest.
Can I use this as a safe-zone or ad-approval check?
No. We could not verify the image dimensions needed for a safe-zone overlay, so this tool does not include one. It does not submit pins, check policy compliance or certify Pinterest approval.
Are the examples real product photos?
No. Try example loads fictional shop copy and generated sample artwork. Replace it with your own photo before a client review.
