  1. 1. Picsart

Picsart covers the same photo work as Fotor and adds video editing, turning a product photo into a video, and bulk editing of up to 50 images at once on Pro. Its app has a very large following. The drawback: App Store and Google Play reviewers report lag, crashes and being charged after cancelling a trial.

4.7 on the App Store (1196444 ratings), checked October 2026

  2. 2. Adobe Express

Adobe Express has thousands of professionally designed templates, multiple brand kits you can switch in the editor, and links to Photoshop and Illustrator assets, so it is stronger than Fotor for layout and template design. Its free plan needs no card. The drawback: Trustpilot reviewers of Adobe report charges after cancelling a free trial and support that is hard to reach.

1.1 on Trustpilot for Adobe (6761 ratings, archived copy), checked October 2026

  3. 3. Infinall AI

Infinall AI saves your logo, colours and voice from your website in Brand Brain, then makes images, motion videos, audio and copy that use them, and plans posts on the Social Hub calendar. It also edits images: remove a background, extend an image or change a selected area, and Crop, Fit and Grade use no credits. The drawback: it is not a dedicated photo editor, so portrait retouching and collages are better done in Fotor or Picsart.

  4. 4. Kittl

Kittl has a vectorizer, editable vector artwork, product mockups and typography tools, which suit brand and product design better than Fotor's photo focus. It is well rated. The drawback: its Free plan has no commercial rights, and Trustpilot reviewers mention credits that run out after a few renders and a learning curve.

4.8 on Trustpilot (1106 ratings, archived copy), checked October 2026

  5. 5. CapCut

CapCut is a full timeline video editor with keyframes, chroma key and slow motion, plus video templates, so it fits better than Fotor when your posts are mostly video. You can try it online free with no card. The drawback: App Store reviewers say Pro prices feel high and more features keep moving behind the paywall.

4.6 on the App Store (1125279 ratings), checked October 2026

  6. 6. Predis.ai

Predis.ai makes video ads, UGC ads and product ads from a product link, a text prompt or an image, and can schedule and autopost from a calendar, so it goes further toward finished ads than Fotor. Every plan starts with 3 days free and needs a card. The drawback: a Shopify reviewer reports credits spent on corrections that did not fix the output and copy that felt generic.

4.7 on the Shopify App Store (170 ratings), checked October 2026

What is Fotor?

Fotor is an online photo editor with AI tools for editing and enhancing images. It covers basic adjustments like brightness and contrast, portrait retouching, background and object removal, AI image expansion, batch editing, collages and a large library of stickers, icons, backgrounds and illustrations. It also lists product photo shoots and video ads made from a product link. Fotor says it suits professional photographers and people sprucing up their social media feed.

How we picked these Fotor alternatives

People usually leave Fotor for one of three reasons: they want more output for their credits, they want clearer prices, or they need a different kind of tool, such as a template designer, a video editor or something that makes finished ads and posts.

So we picked tools that either edit photos and designs by hand (Picsart, Adobe Express, Kittl), edit video (CapCut), or make marketing content for you (Predis.ai, Infinall AI). Every price, rating and complaint on this page comes from the vendor's pricing page or a public review page, checked in October 2026. Canva is not on this list because we did not verify its current pricing for this page.

Quick comparison by need

  • You retouch photos and make collages on a phone: Picsart, or stay with Fotor.
  • You build posters, flyers and social graphics from templates: Adobe Express.
  • You design logos, labels and product mockups: Kittl.
  • Your posts are mostly short videos: CapCut.
  • You sell products and want ads made from a product link: Predis.ai.
  • You need weekly on-brand ads and social posts, plus a calendar to plan them: Infinall AI.
  • You want a free option: Adobe Express (free, no card), CapCut (try online free, no card) or Infinall AI (1,000 credits a month, no card). Kittl's Free plan is for personal use only.

How much does Fotor cost?

Fotor's Basic plan is free forever and comes with limited free credits. The paid plans are Pro, Pro+ and Max, each shown per month and billed annually, but the pricing page does not show the amounts in a form we could confirm, so check https://www.fotor.com/pricing/ for the current price in your country. What the paid plans add is clearer: Pro lists 10 concurrent generations and 2GB of cloud storage, Pro+ lists 30 concurrent generations and 100GB, and Max lists 50 concurrent generations and 500GB. All three include batch background removal and replacement and multiple brand kits.

Among the alternatives, CapCut, Predis.ai and Picsart show clear prices, while Adobe Express and Kittl did not show paid amounts on the pages we checked. Infinall AI Pro costs $10 for the first month, then $30 a month or $299 a year, with 3,000 credits a month (India: Rs 999 first month, then Rs 2,899 a month or Rs 33,999 a year). One Infinall credit is one US cent, and every paid action shows its price before you confirm. Do not treat a Fotor credit and an Infinall credit as the same unit: compare the work each allowance covers.

When to stay with Fotor

If the photograph itself is your deliverable, Fotor is still a good fit. Its collage templates let you adjust the size, spacing and position of photos, its retouching covers portraits, and its paid plans batch-remove and replace backgrounds for product photos. Before you switch, run a fair test: edit one real product photo, check the texture and edges, then download and reopen the file. If that works for you, the complaints above may not apply.

Many teams use two tools. Keep Fotor for photo clean-up, and save your brand in Infinall AI to make the weekly ads, motion videos and captions. You can import images into Infinall for editing, and downloading or exporting finished work there does not use credits.
