Use Ad Revenue Forecast Calculator
Results are estimates, not guarantees, and assume CPC, conversion rate and AOV stay constant. Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser; nothing you enter is uploaded.
How to use it
Use campaign data to estimate sales from a planned ad budget, then compare conversion rates before committing spend.
- Enter planned ad spend and CPC from a recent campaign.
- Enter conversion rate as a percent (3 for 3%) and average order value.
- Calculate, then compare lower and higher conversion rates.
Formula
Clicks = ad spend ÷ CPC; orders = clicks × conversion rate ÷ 100; revenue = orders × AOV; ROAS = revenue ÷ ad spend = conversion rate × AOV ÷ (CPC × 100)
Example
Home-decor store, Jaipur (₹)
An illustrative Indian store campaign forecasting ₹2,17,500 in revenue and 2.72x ROAS.
- Ad spend
- 80,000
- Cost per click (CPC)
- ₹16
- Conversion rate
- 3%
- Average order value (AOV)
- 1,450
Questions
How do I forecast ad revenue?
Divide spend by CPC, apply conversion rate, then multiply by AOV. ₹80,000 at ₹16 buys 5,000 clicks; 3% gives 150 orders; at ₹1,450 each, revenue is ₹2,17,500.
Why does ROAS stay the same when spend rises?
Spend cancels out when CPC, conversion rate and AOV stay constant. Raising ₹80,000 to ₹1,60,000 raises revenue from ₹2,17,500 to ₹4,35,000, still 2.72x ROAS. Change CPC or conversion rate to model different results.
What assumptions does the forecast make?
It uses your inputs, not benchmarks, history, seasonality or attribution models. Currency changes the symbol only, not the amounts.
What conversion rate should I enter?
Use the share of ad clicks that became orders in recent campaigns: 3 for 3%. Entering 0.6 means 0.6%; the tool asks "Did you mean 60%?" but uses your input unless you change it.
Why does it show 333 clicks (333.33 exactly)?
Counts are rounded for display, not calculation. $1,000 at $3 per click and 2% conversion gives 6.67 orders and $266.67 in revenue, not 7 × $40 = $280.
Does this estimate publisher or creator ad earnings?
No, it estimates advertiser sales from paid clicks, not earnings from showing ads.
