Questions
How do I calculate cost per lead?
Divide campaign cost by the leads it brought in over the same dates. For example, ₹90,000 for 240 leads is ₹375.00 per lead.
Is a lower CPL always better?
No. A cheap lead who never buys can be worth less than a pricier lead who does. Track how many leads become customers, then use CPA or CAC.
How is CPL different from CPC?
CPC prices a click; CPL prices an enquiry. When every lead comes from a click, CPL is CPC divided by the click-to-lead rate. A CPC of ₹15 with 5 leads per 100 clicks gives a CPL of ₹300.
Is a rising CPL always bad?
Not always. A narrower audience may cost more to reach but turn into customers more often. Check cost per customer before cutting the budget.
Does changing the currency convert my CPL?
No. Only the symbol and digit grouping change. Enter spend in the currency you report in.
