Use Facebook Ad Image Resizer
Pixel sizes are editable Infinall design sizes, not confirmed Meta specs, so check the preview in Ads Manager before you publish. Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser; nothing you enter is uploaded.
How to use it
Turn one photo into Facebook ad images in Meta's four shapes: square 1:1, vertical 4:5, landscape 1.91:1 and tall 9:16. Move each frame so your product and price stay in view.
- Drop in a product photo or flat artwork.
- Pick the shapes you need, and change a pixel size if Ads Manager asks for another.
- Choose Fill and crop and move the focus, or Fit inside to keep the whole photo.
- Download JPG for photos or PNG for artwork with text, then check Ads Manager's preview.
How it works
Fill and crop: crop to the target ratio using the full height (wider photo) or full width (taller photo)
Kept area = min(photo W × target H, photo H × target W) ÷ max
Fit inside: scale = min(target W ÷ photo W, target H ÷ photo H)
Example
Scooter dealer, Kochi
Showroom photo with a ₹ on-road price sticker in the corner; move the focus so it stays in all four shapes.
Questions
What size should a Facebook ad image be?
Meta's Marketing API lists four ad image crop shapes: square 1:1, vertical 4:5, landscape 1.91:1 and tall 9:16. The pixel sizes here (such as 1080 × 1350 for 4:5) are Infinall design sizes, so check the size Ads Manager shows.
Which shape should I use for my ad?
Pick the shapes that match where your ad will run. Not sure yet? Make all four and choose later.
Will my price or logo get cut off?
It can. From a 4000 × 3000 photo, a centred 4:5 crop keeps 60% of the width and a 9:16 crop keeps 42%, so a price near the edge is lost. Move the focus toward it, or use Fit inside, which keeps everything. The tool warns when under half the image is kept.
Why does one of my files look soft?
Your photo had fewer pixels than that size needs, so it was stretched. For example, a 600 × 500 photo cropped to 4:5 gives a 400 × 500 area, which is enlarged 2.00× to fill 800 × 1000. Start from the camera original, not a screenshot or a photo saved from chat.
Does a file from this tool guarantee my ad is approved?
No. This tool sets shape, size and file type only. Meta reviews ads against its own policies, so check the preview in Ads Manager.
