  1. 1. Buffer

Buffer plans, schedules and publishes posts to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, Google Business, Mastodon, X and Substack. The Free plan gives 10 scheduled posts per channel and 1 user, and Essentials adds unlimited scheduled posts, advanced analytics and first comment scheduling. It also has a comment inbox and an AI assistant for rewriting posts. The Team plan, at $10 per month per channel, adds unlimited team members and content approval workflows.

  2. 2. Metricool

Metricool plans and schedules posts on a calendar, reports on performance and handles messages in one place. The Free plan covers 1 brand, up to 20 scheduled posts per month, 5 competitor profiles and 30 days of analytics. Paid plans are priced by number of brands, not by user.

Watch out: A Google Play reviewer said the app forgets connections and often will not upload a short video.

  3. 3. CoSchedule

CoSchedule puts every profile and network on one drag-and-drop calendar and schedules posts, Reels, Stories and Shorts. Starter includes 1 user seat and 3 social profiles with unlimited scheduling, a Facebook and Instagram inbox and ReQueue, which reshares evergreen posts to fill quiet days. Twitter/X profiles are billed separately.

Watch out: A SaaSworthy reviewer said the cost put it out of reach for people they wanted to recommend it to.

4.3 on SaaSworthy from 270 ratings (checked October 2026)

  4. 4. Later

4.4 on SaaSworthy from 1,041 ratings (checked October 2026)

  5. 5. SocialBee

SocialBee creates, schedules, publishes and analyses posts and handles conversations from one dashboard. Bootstrap connects up to 5 social profiles for 1 user, with unlimited AI content generation and a visual calendar that suggests the best times to publish. It schedules to Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Google Business Profile.

Watch out: A Google Play reviewer said the mobile app gets stuck after login and has to be reinstalled.

  6. 6. ContentStudio

ContentStudio plans, creates and publishes posts with a content calendar, AI captions, hashtags and images, and recommended posting times. Standard is for one brand, with unlimited social posting and analytics. Advanced adds a social inbox, approvals and bulk scheduling from a CSV file.

Watch out: A G2 reviewer said the product is so feature-heavy that the learning curve is steep.

    4.6 on G2 from 355 ratings (checked October 2026)

  7. 7. Infinall AI

Infinall AI saves your brand once from your website, then makes images, motion videos, video (Pro), voiceovers and captions in that brand. The Social Hub calendar plans, schedules and publishes posts, and planning, scheduling and publishing never use credits. You can also boost a published post as a paid ad from your own ad account.

Watch out: Connecting accounts so posts publish by themselves is Pro only, with 2 free connections, then 300 credits a month for each extra account. On Free, scheduled posts become reminders.

How to choose

Start with who will post. In many nonprofits that is one staff member plus a rotating group of volunteers. If several people need their own login, check seats before price: Buffer Team includes unlimited team members, CoSchedule Starter has 1 user seat, SocialBee Bootstrap is for 1 user, and ContentStudio Standard includes 1 user. If volunteers draft and a staff member signs off, look for approvals, which Buffer Team, Later Growth and ContentStudio Advanced include.

Next, count your accounts and posts. Most nonprofits run Facebook and Instagram, and many add LinkedIn for funders. Buffer charges per channel, so three channels on Essentials is $15 a month. Free plans cap volume: Buffer Free has 10 scheduled posts per channel, Metricool Free 20 posts per month and CoSchedule Free 15 posts at a time on 1 profile. That is enough for a weekly rhythm, not for a daily fundraising push.

Then decide who makes the content. Every tool here schedules, but appeal graphics, event videos and thank-you posts still need to be made. If a volunteer designer already does this, a plain scheduler is enough. If not, a tool that makes media from your brand, such as Infinall AI, saves a second subscription.

Finally, ask each vendor about nonprofit pricing before you pay. The pricing pages we read do not show a nonprofit discount, so check with the vendor directly, and test real posts during the free plan or trial first.

What a nonprofit needs from a scheduling tool

A nonprofit usually has a tight budget, a small team and peaks of activity around appeals, events and awareness days. That changes what matters:

  • A free or low-cost plan that covers Facebook, Instagram and maybe LinkedIn.
  • Logins for volunteers, ideally with approvals so a staff member checks posts before they go out.
  • A calendar you can fill ahead of a campaign or event, then leave running.
  • A comment or message inbox, so questions from supporters do not get missed.
  • Simple reports you can share with a board or a funder.
  • A mobile app that uploads photos and videos from events reliably.

Client workspaces and white label reports matter to agencies, so most nonprofits can skip the plans built around them.

Free plans compared

Four of the tools here have a free plan you can keep:

  • Buffer Free: up to 3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel, 1 user.
  • Metricool Free: 1 brand, up to 20 posts per month, 30 days of analytics.
  • CoSchedule Free: up to 15 posts at a time on 1 profile.
  • Infinall AI Free: 1,000 credits every month, no card. You can plan and schedule on the calendar and get a reminder at the post time, but automatic publishing needs a connected account, which is Pro.

Later offers 14 days free, SocialBee a 14-day free trial and ContentStudio a 7-day trial, but none of them has a free plan after that.

What it costs for a typical nonprofit

Here is the entry price for a nonprofit posting to three accounts, from each pricing page in October 2026:

  • Buffer Essentials: $5 per month per channel, so $15 a month for three. Team is $10 per month per channel with unlimited team members.
  • Later Starter: $18.75 per month, billed yearly.
  • ContentStudio Standard: $19 per month billed annually, or $29 month to month.
  • Metricool Starter: $25 per month for up to 5 brands.
  • SocialBee Bootstrap: $29 per month billed monthly, up to 5 profiles.
  • CoSchedule Starter: $29 per month billed annually, or $39 per month billed monthly, 3 profiles included.
  • Infinall AI Pro: $10 for the first month, then $30 a month with 3,000 credits. Two account connections are free, and the third costs 300 credits a month.

The pricing pages we read do not show nonprofit discounts, so ask each vendor. If you only need to queue posts you already have, Buffer is the cheapest. Infinall AI costs more than a plain scheduler for publishing alone, and makes sense when the monthly credits also replace a design or video tool.

Where Infinall AI fits

For a nonprofit, Infinall AI is a content studio with a scheduler built in, not a scheduler first. You add your website once and it saves your logo, colours and voice. From there you make images, motion videos, voiceovers and captions on brand, add them to a post on the Social Hub calendar and pick a date. A post holds up to 20 files, and a failed send is tried again up to 3 times before it shows as Failed.

The calendar also feeds a comment inbox for connected Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and TikTok accounts, replies to Google Business reviews, and a best time to post chart. A dedicated scheduler such as Buffer has more publishing options, more team seats and is cheaper if scheduling is all you need.
