What VEED is good at
VEED describes itself as AI video creation made for social. Its core is an in-browser editor to edit, convert, subtitle and transcribe video, with a long list of utility tools around it: a video cutter, joiner, compressor, enhancer and background remover. It also generates videos, voices, avatars and images from a text prompt, offers AI avatars with lip sync, and has a video ad maker that starts from templates for each platform.
Subtitles are where VEED puts most of its weight. It makes styled automatic subtitles, translates video and dubs it with AI. It also has recording tools, including a screen recorder, a webcam recorder and a teleprompter, and APIs for developers who want lip sync, subtitles or background removal inside their own product. If your week is spent cleaning up, captioning and translating footage you already shot, VEED is built for that job.
Pricing compared
VEED says you can start for free and upgrade to get more features. Its paid plans are charged per seat, so the plan price is multiplied by the number of editors in your workspace. All paid plans include unlimited subtitle generation, subject to a fair use limit of 50 hours per month. AI features use a monthly or yearly credit allowance, and credits do not carry over. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard. Enterprise customers can get a free trial with a minimum of 3 users through sales.
The pricing page does not show plan names or prices in a form we could confirm, so check the VEED pricing page for current per-seat prices and billing periods before you pay.
Infinall Free gives 1,000 credits every month with no card. Pro costs $10 for the first month, then $30 a month or $299 a year, and gives 3,000 credits a month. In India, Pro is Rs 999 for the first month, then Rs 2,899 a month or Rs 33,999 a year. One credit is worth one US cent. Making new work spends credits; downloading and exporting finished work does not.
What reviewers complain about
VEED Lite, the VEED mobile app, is rated 4.8 on the App Store from 19975 ratings. That rating is for the mobile app, not the main web editor. The complaints we found are about captions and speed rather than price:
- On the App Store, a user said auto captions missed words even when the speech was clear.
- Another App Store user said exported videos lost frame rate after captions were added.
- On SaaSworthy, a reviewer on the basic plan said they could not download auto-generated subtitles.
- SaaSworthy reviewers also said uploads can be slow and exports can take a while.
- One SaaSworthy reviewer wished uploaded footage was stored so it did not need uploading every time, and said the editor sometimes glitches.
The SaaSworthy reviews date from late 2023 and early 2024, so they may not reflect the product today. Both review pages are linked in the sources.
Where Infinall AI fits instead
Infinall AI starts from your brand rather than from footage. Paste your public website address, review what it finds, fix anything wrong and confirm the Brand Brain. In a composer, choose that brand so images, motion videos, audio, copy and chat answers use its logo, colours, voice and claims. Adding and editing a brand does not use credits.
A fair trial brief is a product launch: one image, one short motion video and the post copy. Motion is available on Free and Pro; the separate Video mode is Pro only and shows its price before it runs. Ad Spy lets you look at the ads a brand runs on Meta, Google and LinkedIn first. Finished work goes to the Social Hub calendar, where you schedule posts. Automatic publishing needs a connected account, and adding connections requires Pro; without one you get a reminder at the scheduled time. Boosting a published post uses your own ad account, which the ad platform bills separately. Infinall does not buy media for you.
Can you use both?
Yes, and for some teams it is the sensible setup. Make brand images, motion videos and copy in Infinall AI, download them at no credit cost, and keep VEED for subtitles, translation, screen recordings and trimming longer clips. This is a manual handoff, not a direct integration.
To choose between them, list the work you repeat every week:
- Mostly captioning, translating and editing footage you already shot: VEED is the clearer pick.
- Mostly producing on-brand images, short videos and copy, then planning posts: test Infinall first.
- Both: keep both only when each removes a distinct part of the work, and remember VEED bills per editor seat.
