Marketing for Insurance Agents: Ads, Posts and Lead Forms

Marketing for insurance agents works best when each ad explains one type of cover in plain words, shows who the agent is, and gives an easy way to ask for a quote, with every required disclosure visible. Infinall AI helps make branded images, motion videos and captions, then plan posts in the Social Hub calendar, with 1,000 free credits every month and no card.

The insurance agents marketing problem

Insurance agents win most new clients through trust: referrals, local reputation and being the person someone thinks of when they buy a car, a home or need family cover. Ads and social posts support that by keeping the agent visible, explaining one product at a time and making it easy to book a call or ask for a quote.

The hard part is that insurance is a promise about the future, so ad copy is easy to get wrong. A line that sounds helpful, such as a guaranteed saving or a price that only applies to some people, can mislead a reader or break a platform rule. Many agents also work under a carrier or agency that has its own approval rules for marketing, so every draft needs a careful review before it goes out.

A third problem is that cover is not visual. There is no dish or product to photograph, so ads lean on people, everyday situations and clear text, and that text has to be short, accurate and free of claims you cannot back up.

How to run insurance agents ads with Infinall AI

  1. Save your agency brand from your website

Paste your public agency website into Brand Brain. Infinall AI reads up to 20 pages, asks about anything it could not find and lets you confirm the saved brand. Check the logo, colours, voice, the products you sell and the areas you serve before confirming. Adding and editing a brand are free on Free and Pro. Pick that brand in each composer so later work stays consistent.

  2. Make an image or motion video for one type of cover

Choose one message, such as a reminder to review home cover before renewal or an invitation to a free policy review call. In the Image composer, describe the scene and layout, and attach your own headshot or office photo as a reference if you want people to recognise you. In Motion, choose your brand, shape, length and quality, then describe the message. Both are on Free and Pro and use credits. Check every word on the image before using it.

  3. Write captions and ad text you can stand behind

Pick your saved brand in Infinall Chat and ask for caption drafts from details you supply: the product, who it suits, your licensed area and how to contact you. Ask for a short version for ads and a longer version for posts. Remove any promise of savings, approval or results that you cannot prove, and add the disclosures your carrier or local rules require.

  4. Schedule posts, boost one or collect leads

Add the reviewed creative and caption to the Social Hub calendar, pick the platforms and choose a date. Planning and scheduling are free on both plans, and without a connected account you get a reminder at the time. Connecting social or ad accounts requires Pro. With a connected ad account you can boost a published post or build a lead form on Meta or LinkedIn so people can ask for a quote without leaving the app. The ad platform charges your ad account for the budget.

  5. Look at what other agents run in Ad Spy

Search a competing agency website or a keyword such as life insurance or home insurance in Ad Spy, on Meta, Google or LinkedIn. Searching is free on both plans today. Open an ad tile to read its copy and see how long it has run. Use what you see as ideas for your own brief, not as proof that the ad worked, and never copy another agent's claims.

Ad ideas that fit an insurance agency

Good insurance ads explain one thing well. Some ideas to brief in Infinall AI:

  • Introduce yourself: a photo-based image or short motion video with your name, the products you sell and the area you serve.
  • Renewal reminders: a plain post that tells people when to review home or car cover and how to book a short review call with you.
  • Life events: a new home, a new car, a new baby or a new business are moments when people look at cover. Make one post per event that explains what to think about.
  • Questions answered: turn a common client question into a short caption and a simple text image.

Searches like insurance ads on tv, insurance ads actors and insurance ads lab show that people notice the big national campaigns with famous faces and characters. A local agent does not need a studio for that. A recognisable face, your own, used the same way every time, does a similar job. These are creative starting points, not claims about results.

Which platforms and sizes to use

Facebook and Instagram suit local, personal content. Instagram's photo guidance keeps images at their original resolution when they are 320 to 1080 pixels wide, and at 1080 pixels wide it gives a height range of 566 to 1440 pixels. If you publish through the Instagram API, images must sit within a 4:5 to 1.91:1 ratio and captions are limited to 2,200 characters. For Stories, a 9:16 shape is recommended to avoid cropping.

LinkedIn suits commercial lines, group benefits and business owners. LinkedIn recommends 1200 x 1200 pixels for square single image ads and 1200 x 628 pixels for horizontal ones, with introductory text around 150 characters and a headline around 70 characters.

Google search ads catch people already looking for cover. Responsive search ad headlines hold up to 30 characters and descriptions up to 90 characters, so name the product and your town, not a slogan. Google's editorial rules also disallow entering a phone number in the ad text, so use the right ad assets or your landing page for that.

Policy watch-outs for insurance ads

Google Ads treats insurance as a financial product. Its financial products and services policy says that when promoting financial products and services, you must comply with state and local regulations for any location that your ads target. Disclosures must be clearly and immediately visible without needing to click or hover over anything. In some locations you must also complete a verification process, which can ask for your licences and registration numbers.

Watch the wording too. Google says that if you guarantee certain results, you are required to have a clear and easily accessible refund policy, so avoid guaranteed savings or approval lines. On Meta, ads must not contain content that asserts or implies personal attributes, so write "looking at family cover?" rather than a line that tells the reader something about their own health, age or money. Meta also lists guaranteed investment returns among prohibited practices, which matters for any savings or investment-linked product.

An AI draft is not a compliance review. Check each ad against your carrier's rules and your local regulator before it runs.

Budget and credits

Free gives 1,000 credits every month with no card. Pro gives 3,000 credits a month and costs $10 for the first month, then $30 a month or $299 a year. In India, rupee checkout is Rs 999 for the first month, then Rs 2,899 a month or Rs 33,999 a year. One credit is worth one US cent.

Brand setup, calendar planning, scheduling, publishing and making a lead form do not use credits. Making images and motion videos does, and the amount depends on the quality you choose. A live ad or boost uses 2 credits a month, and the ad platform charges your budget to your own ad account. Infinall AI does not buy media for you.

If you only post now and then and already have good photos, writing posts by hand may be enough. Infinall AI is most useful when you want a steady flow of branded posts and ads without a designer.

Frequently asked questions

Can an insurance agent start on the Free plan?

Yes. Free includes 1,000 credits every month, Brand Brain, images, Motion, Ad Spy and calendar planning with reminders. Connecting social or ad accounts, which you need for automatic publishing, boosting and lead forms, requires Pro.

Will Infinall AI check my ads for insurance compliance?

No. It helps you draft creative and copy, but you must check every ad against your carrier's marketing rules, local regulations and the ad platform's policies. Approval depends on the ad platform, not on the draft.

Can I collect quote requests from ads?

Yes, with a connected ad account. Lead forms work on Meta and LinkedIn, with up to 15 questions on Meta and up to 3 on LinkedIn. Making a form, reading leads and exporting them do not use credits.

Should I use stock actors in my insurance ads?

For a local agent, your own photo usually fits better because clients buy from a person they trust. Use real photos of yourself and your office as references, and check that AI images do not show people or places that suggest something untrue.
