Marketing for Photographers: Ads, Posters and Posts That Book
Marketing for photographers works best when your own real photos do the selling, shown in the right shape for each platform with one clear offer, such as a mini session or a booking date. Infinall AI turns those photos into branded ads, posters, motion videos and captions from your saved brand and plans posts in the Social Hub calendar, with 1,000 free credits every month and no card.

The photographers marketing problem
Photographers get booked through trust in their work. A couple choosing a wedding photographer, a parent booking a family session or a business ordering headshots wants to see real photos in a style they like, then a simple way to check dates and prices. Most bookings start with a portfolio post, a referral, a Google review or a seasonal offer such as holiday mini sessions.
The hard part is that the work itself is the product. An AI image that looks like a shoot you never did is not portfolio, and showing one as your work misleads the client. Use AI around your real photos: layouts, posters, text, motion, captions and resized versions, and keep the photograph itself as you shot and edited it.
Time is the other problem. Shooting, editing and delivering galleries leave little time to design a poster, cut a Reel, write captions and post every week, so marketing slips during busy season, which is exactly when the next season's bookings need to be made.
How to run photographers ads with Infinall AI
Save your photography brand from your website
Paste your portfolio website address into Brand Brain. Infinall AI reads up to 20 pages, asks only about what it could not find, and you confirm the result. Check the logo, colours, voice and the session types it found before confirming. Adding a brand is free on both plans. Pin the confirmed brand to an image project so new designs use your name, colours, voice and logo without describing them each time.
Make an ad or poster for one specific offer
Pick one offer, such as a spring mini session, a headshot day or open wedding dates. In the Image composer, attach up to 6 reference pictures, such as your best real photos and your logo, each up to 10 MB, and describe the layout, the offer text and the booking details. One send makes up to 4 images, and Variations makes 2 to 4 alternatives of one you like. For a photography ads poster, ask for your photo framed with the dates, price and how to book. Check that your photo was not changed.
Prepare your own photos for each platform for free
Use Enhance to sharpen a photo or make it 2 or 4 times bigger, with the long side capped at 4096 pixels. Enhance works on the pixels you already have and does not invent new content. Resize with Crop or Fit sets a width and height from 64 to 4096 pixels. Enhance, Crop, Fit and Grade use no credits. AI Extend, Style and Lighting do use credits and change the picture, so avoid them on images you present as your real work.
Turn a set of photos into a motion video, then write captions
In Motion, pick your brand, a shape, a length from 10 to 60 seconds and a quality level, then describe the session and the offer. Motion is on Free and Pro and is charged on what the video uses. Then select your brand in Infinall Chat and ask for captions using the session name, price, location and booking details you supply, in your own voice.
Schedule, boost and watch other photographers in Ad Spy
Add the reviewed post to the Social Hub calendar, pick platforms and a date. Planning and scheduling use no credits. Automatic publishing and boosting need a connected account, which is Pro. A boost runs a published post as a paid ad from your own ad account, which the platform charges separately. Search a local studio's website or a keyword such as newborn photography in Ad Spy, on Meta, Google or LinkedIn, to collect photography ads ideas. Searching costs 0 credits today. A running ad is not proof that it books clients.
Photography ads ideas that start from your real work
Mini sessions: one strong photo from a past mini session, the date, the length, the price and the booking link, written plainly. Make a square feed version, a tall Story version and a Pin.
A booking window: a poster or carousel that says which wedding or event dates are still open for next season, with three or four real photos in your style.
Headshots for teams: a clean before-the-shoot explainer of what is included, aimed at local businesses, which also suits LinkedIn.
A motion slideshow: a short Motion video that moves through a real gallery with your logo and the offer at the end, for Reels and TikTok.
Social proof: a client's real review, used with permission, laid out next to a photo from that session. If you connect a Google Business account on Pro, the Reviews tab lets you reply to Google reviews with a draft from Infinall AI.
These are creative starting points, not claims about results. For portfolio work, a real photo you shot always beats a generated one; AI is most useful for the posters, text, shapes and captions around it.
Which platforms and sizes to use
Instagram feed: Instagram keeps a photo at its original resolution when it is between 320 and 1080 pixels wide. At 1080 pixels wide, the height can be between 566 and 1440 pixels. If you publish through the Instagram API, the image ratio must be within 4:5 to 1.91:1, and captions can be up to 2200 characters with 30 hashtags. A tall 4:5 crop gives a portrait the most room in the feed.
Instagram Stories: Instagram recommends 9:16 for Story images to avoid cropping.
Pinterest: Pinterest recommends a 2:3 ratio, or 1000 x 1500 pixels, and a title of up to 100 characters, of which the first 40 may show in feeds. Wedding and family photography searches suit Pins that link to a gallery or blog post.
TikTok: in-feed ads take vertical 9:16 video of at least 540 x 960 pixels.
The free resizers linked below crop one approved photo into each of these shapes. Infinall AI prepares the creative and posts it; it does not buy media for you.
Policy watch-outs for photography ads
Meta's Ad Standards say ads must not contain content that asserts or implies personal attributes. A headline like Tired of hating how you look in photos? speaks to the viewer's appearance; describe your service instead, such as relaxed portrait sessions with posing help.
TikTok restricts before-and-after comparisons that may give a false or distorted impression of a product's results, so be careful with heavy retouching comparisons. TikTok also restricts exaggerated or absolute claims, such as the best wedding photographer in the city, unless you can prove them.
Meta names sensational phrasing, all capital letters and excessive exclamation marks as clickbait, and Google Ads editorial rules disallow incorrect capitalization and gimmicky punctuation. Get written permission before you use a client's face or review in an ad. A generated draft is not an approval; the platform still reviews every ad.
Budget and credits
Free gives 1,000 credits every month, reset on day 1, with no card. Pro gives 3,000 credits a month and costs $10 for the first month, then $30 a month or $299 a year. In India it is Rs 999 for the first month, then Rs 2,899 a month or Rs 33,999 a year. One credit is one US cent.
Saving your brand, Ad Spy searches, calendar planning, scheduling and publishing use no credits. Enhance, Grade and Resize with Crop or Fit are free too, so preparing your own photos for every platform costs nothing. Making new images and motion videos uses credits. Edits show a price before you confirm; a brand new image does not show a price chip first, and Motion is charged on usage, so do not plan an exact number of finished ads from your balance.
A live boost uses 2 credits a month, and the ad platform charges your daily budget to your own ad account. Keep that media budget separate from your content credits. If you post a few portfolio photos a month and rely on referrals, your phone and the free resizers may be all you need; Infinall AI helps most when you run regular offers across several platforms.

Frequently asked questions
Can a photographer start on the Free plan?
Yes. Free includes 1,000 credits every month, Brand Brain, images, Motion, Ad Spy and the calendar. You can schedule posts with reminders without connecting an account. Connecting social and ad accounts for automatic publishing and boosting needs Pro, and the Video composer is Pro only.
Should I use AI images in my portfolio?
No. Clients book you for photos you actually take. Use your real photos as references and let AI handle posters, layouts, captions, motion and extra sizes, then check that your photo was not changed.
Will Enhance change my photo?
Enhance sharpens, reduces noise and can make a photo 2 or 4 times bigger. It works on the pixels you already have and does not invent new content, and it uses no credits.
Does Infinall AI run my photography ads?
It makes the creative, schedules posts and can boost a published post through your connected ad account. It does not buy media for you; the ad platform charges your budget to your own ad account.
