Marketing for Skincare Brands: Ad Images, Videos and Captions
Marketing for skincare brands works best when each post shows the real product, explains what it does in claims you can support, and gives one clear next step such as shop now. Infinall AI makes branded product images, motion videos and captions from your saved brand and plans posts in the Social Hub calendar, with 1,000 free credits every month and no card.

The skincare brands marketing problem
Skincare brands win customers by earning trust before the first purchase. People find a cleanser, serum or sunscreen while scrolling Instagram, TikTok or Pinterest, or while searching for a skin concern, then compare ingredients, textures and prices across a few brands. A small brand needs a steady flow of clear product visuals, short texture videos and plain explanations of how and when to use each product.
What makes skincare ads hard is that they sit right next to health and appearance rules. Copy that promises a result by a date, tells someone their skin is a problem, or shows an edited before-and-after can be rejected by the platform and can mislead buyers. A generated image can also show a texture, finish or skin result your product does not give.
So every draft needs a check against the real product, the label and the claims you are allowed to make before it goes out.
How to run skincare brands ads with Infinall AI
Save your skincare brand from your website
Paste your store's public website address into Brand Brain. Infinall AI reads up to 20 pages, asks only about what it could not find, and you confirm the result. Check the logo, colours, voice and product list before confirming. Adding a brand is free on both plans, and a confirmed brand can be pinned so new images use your name, colours, voice and logo without describing them each time.
Make images for one product or offer
Pick one product, such as a new serum or a travel kit, rather than the whole range. In the Image composer, describe the scene and attach up to 6 reference pictures, such as your real packaging shots and logo, each up to 10 MB. One send makes up to 4 images, and Variations makes 2 to 4 alternatives of an image you like. For skincare ads design, check the label text, pack colour and texture against the real product every time.
Turn it into a short skincare ads video
In Motion, pick your brand, a shape, a length from 10 to 60 seconds and a quality level, then describe the product, how it is used and the offer. Motion is on Free and Pro and is charged on what the video uses. On Pro, the Video composer makes videos from 1 to 180 seconds and shows the exact price before anything renders. Use these for Reels, Stories and TikTok placements.
Write captions, schedule, then boost the best post
Select your brand in Infinall Chat and ask for captions using the details you supply: product name, key ingredients from the label, skin type, size, price and where to buy. Remove any claim you cannot support. Add the reviewed image or video and caption to the Social Hub calendar, pick platforms and a date. Planning and scheduling use no credits. Automatic publishing and boosting need a connected account, which is Pro. A boost runs a published post as a paid ad from your own ad account, which the platform charges separately.
Check what other skincare brands run in Ad Spy
Search a competing brand's website or a keyword such as sunscreen or retinol in Ad Spy, on Meta, Google or LinkedIn. Searching costs 0 credits today on both plans. Open a tile to read the copy and look at the creative. Note the format, the hook and the call to action as ideas for your own brief. A running ad is not proof that it sells.
Skincare ad ideas that start from the real product
A launch post: one hero image of the bottle or tube on a clean background in your brand colours, with the product name, what it is for and where to buy.
A texture video: a short motion video that shows the product being dispensed or spread, then ends on the name and price. This is the most common shape of skincare ads video and works in Reels, Stories and TikTok.
A routine post: the order of use for two or three products from your own range, morning or evening, with each product named so shoppers can find it.
An ingredient post: one ingredient from the label, what it is, and which of your products contains it, in plain words and without promising a result.
A bundle or gift set: what is inside, the price and the date the offer ends.
If you are looking at skincare ads 2025 for ideas, search the ad libraries linked below to see what real brands ran, then write your own brief: one product, one claim you can support, one placement and one action. A real photo shoot is still the better choice when you need to show texture or results on real skin. AI helps most with the supporting versions, backgrounds and captions around approved photos. These are creative starting points, not claims about results.
Which platforms and sizes to use
Instagram feed: Instagram keeps a photo at its original resolution when it is between 320 and 1080 pixels wide and within its supported range. At 1080 pixels wide that means a height between 566 and 1440 pixels. If you publish through the Instagram API, the image ratio must be within 4:5 to 1.91:1, and captions can be up to 2200 characters with 30 hashtags.
Instagram Stories and Reels: Instagram recommends 9:16 for Stories to avoid cropping or blank space. Reels published through the API can run from 3 seconds to 15 minutes.
TikTok: in-feed ads take vertical 9:16 video of at least 540 x 960 pixels, files up to 500 MB, and videos up to 10 minutes.
Pinterest: Pinterest recommends a 2:3 ratio, or 1000 x 1500 pixels, and a title of up to 100 characters, of which the first 40 may show in feeds. Put the product name and skin concern early.
Google search ads: headlines can be up to 30 characters and descriptions up to 90 characters, so lead with the product type and one supported benefit.
The free resizers linked below cut one approved image into each of these shapes. Infinall AI prepares the creative and posts it; it does not buy media for you.
Policy watch-outs for skincare ads
Personal attributes: Meta's Ad Standards say ads must not contain content that asserts or implies personal attributes. A line such as Tired of your acne? speaks to the reader's own skin and can be rejected. Describe the product instead: a gel cleanser for oily skin.
Health claims: Meta's health and wellness standards bar clickbait in a health context, such as exaggerated or extreme claims, or promises of specific outcomes within a set timeframe without disclaimers or qualifiers. Avoid lines like clear skin in 7 days.
Before-and-after: TikTok restricts product effect comparisons, such as before-and-after results, that may give a false or distorted impression about a product's results. TikTok also does not allow absolute terms about a product in relation to time, region or brand, so drop words like the best serum in the country unless you can prove them.
Cure claims: Google's policy lists miracle cures for medical ailments as unacceptable. If a product treats a skin condition, read the platform's health rules before you write the ad.
Meta's Ad Standards also prohibit deceptive pricing, so a sale price must be real. A generated draft is not an approval; each platform still reviews every ad, and the ad policy word checker linked below helps catch risky words early.
Budget and credits
Free gives 1,000 credits every month, with no card. Pro gives 3,000 credits a month and costs $10 for the first month, then $30 a month or $299 a year. In India it is Rs 999 for the first month, then Rs 2,899 a month or Rs 33,999 a year. One credit is one US cent.
Saving your brand, Ad Spy searches, calendar planning, scheduling and publishing use no credits. Making new images, motion videos and videos uses credits. Edits show a price before you confirm, and Motion is charged on usage, so do not plan an exact number of finished ads from your balance.
A live boost uses 2 credits a month, and the ad platform charges your daily budget to your own ad account. Keep that media budget separate from your content credits. A brand with one launch a month may be fine on Free; a brand posting new products and videos every week will likely want Pro for more credits, connected accounts and the Video composer.
See real ads in your industry
- Search a skincare brand's name in the Google Ads Transparency Center to see its real search, display and video ads.
- Search a skincare brand, or a keyword such as sunscreen, serum or moisturiser, in the Meta Ad Library to compare images, texture videos and offers running on Facebook and Instagram.
- Search a skincare company in the LinkedIn Ad Library to see ads aimed at retailers, salons, clinics and stockists.
Frequently asked questions
Can a small skincare brand start on the Free plan?
Yes. Free includes 1,000 credits every month, Brand Brain, images, Motion, Ad Spy and the calendar. You can schedule posts with reminders without connecting an account. Connecting social and ad accounts for automatic publishing and boosting needs Pro, and the Video composer is Pro only.
Can I run before-and-after skincare ads?
Be careful. TikTok's ad policy restricts before-and-after comparisons that may give a false or distorted impression of a product's results, and Meta's rules bar ads that assert or imply personal attributes. Read each platform's policy for your product before you run one.
Should AI images replace my product photos?
No. Shoppers want to see the real pack and texture. Attach your real photos as reference pictures and use AI for backgrounds, scenes, extra shapes and captions, then check each result against the actual product and label.
Does Infinall AI run my skincare ad campaigns?
It makes the creative, schedules posts and can boost a published post through your connected ad account. It does not buy media for you; the ad platform charges your budget to your own ad account.
