Download and save your finished video

Save a finished video to your computer as an MP4 from its card, or send it to your calendar or Library. Downloading is free.

ProFree, no creditsStudio canvas > Video mode > a finished video card

#What it is

When a video is finished, it sits on your canvas as a video card. You can play it there and save it to your computer as an MP4 file. There is no separate Export screen for video.

#Who can use it

Video is part of the Pro plan, and accounts on a trial can make videos like Pro accounts. Free accounts see an upgrade prompt instead of Video mode. If you can make a video, you can download it.

#Cost

Free, no credits. Downloading, sending to your calendar and saving to your Library never use credits. Credits are only used when a video is made, and you see the price before you confirm.

#Where to find it

Open a Studio project and switch to Video mode. Click a finished video card on the canvas. The buttons appear at its top right, and they stay visible while the card is selected.

#How to download a finished video

  1. Open the Studio project and switch to Video mode.
  2. Click the finished video card.
  3. Choose Download video on the card. Or open Video actions and choose Download.
  4. Wait for the spinner to stop. Your browser saves an MP4 file.

The file name comes from the start of your prompt. Characters that are not letters, numbers, dots or dashes become dashes.

#How to download several videos

  1. Select the videos on the canvas. Hold Shift to add more.
  2. In the bar at the top, choose Download.
  3. Each finished video is saved as its own MP4, one after the other. Videos that are not finished yet are skipped.

#How to remove a video from the canvas

  1. Click the video card.
  2. Choose Remove video from canvas. Or select it and choose Delete in the top bar, then Delete 1? to confirm.

Remove takes the card off your canvas. Download the video first if you want to keep the file.

#Options explained

MP4 only. A finished video saves as one MP4 file. There is no ZIP for a single video, and no PDF for video.

Size and look. The file you save is the quality you chose when you made the video. The quality choices are 720p, 1080p, 2K and 4K, depending on the model, and the choice starts at 1080p. Sizes above what the model makes natively are upscaled. Check the quality picker in your video panel for what your model offers.

Frame rate. You choose 24, 30 or 60 frames per second when you make the video. If the model does not make your frame rate natively, it is converted when the video is built.

Where else a video goes. Add to calendar and Save to Library work from the same menu. The chat assistant cannot yet see videos on the canvas.

#Limits

  • Downloads are one MP4 per video. A selection downloads one file for each finished video.
  • You can only download a video that is finished. A card that is still planning or rendering has no download button.
  • A new video starts at 30 frames per second unless you change it.

#Questions

#Is there an Export button for video?

No. A finished video has Download video on its card and Download in the Video actions menu. Both save an MP4.

#Can I choose 4K when I download?

You choose quality when you make the video, in the quality picker. The download saves that finished video. The picker only offers the sizes your model supports.

#Does downloading use credits?

No. Only making a video uses credits, and the price shows before you approve.

#Can I download a video that is still rendering?

No. The download button shows only when the video is finished. Wait for Ready.

#Does Remove from canvas delete the file?

It removes the card from your canvas. Download the video first if you want a copy.

#Can I save images and video together?

Yes, in the selection bar Download saves each selected item on its own. For images, see Download and export your work.
